2024-25 MASCAC Women's Track and Field News

Alison McDonough, Serenity Sands and Grace Inacio of Bridgewater State earn the first MASCAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field weekly honors of the outdoor season.

Last season’s outdoor champions Bridgewater State men and Westfield State women have been selected by the coaches from around the conference to claim the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field titles during the 2025 campaign.

With the conclusion of winter regular season, Westfield State retains their lead in the 2024-25 Howard C. Smith Cup standings. The Smith Cup is awarded annually to the member institution which compiles the most points based on the placement of each of its programs competing in the league championship sports.

After competing at the NCAA Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships, Alison McDonough and Serenity Sands of Bridgewater State take home the MASCAC Women's Indoor Track and Field weekly awards.

Bridgewater State University freshman Alex Huynh and senior Serenity Sands earned First Team All-American honors in the high jump at the 2025 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships held at the Golisano Training Center on the campus of Nazareth University in Rochester, New York.

Due to the forecast for Sunday and the unsafe travel conditions, the MASCAC has made the difficult decision to cancel the Indoor Track and Field Championship. We have exhausted the rescheduling options and unfortunately the championship will not be made up.

Winter championships get underway on Sunday with the MASCAC Indoor Track and Field Championship hosted by Bridgewater State at Wheaton College in Norton, Mass.

A total of 1,610 student-athletes have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s Fall/Winter 2024 All-Academic team that was released earlier today by Commissioner Angela Baumann.
