Rivier’s McKelvey Named First-Ever MASCAC Women’s Ice Hockey Player of the Year, Worcester State’s Czerniawski Named Defensive Player of the Year, Headline 2024-25 MASCAC All-Conference Team

In a historic moment for the conference, Rivier’s Rebecca McKelvey and Worcester State’s Kelsey Czerniawski earn the first-ever MASCAC Women’s Ice Hockey Player and Defensive Player of the Year and headline the 2024-25 All-Conference team as voted on by the coaches from around the conference prior to the tournament.

Plymouth State Makes History as the First-Ever MASCAC Women's Ice Hockey Tournament Champions

Sophomore Juliet Rutigliano scored the game-winning goal 6:55 into the fourth overtime as top-seeded Plymouth State University held off third-seeded Rivier University, 2-1, in the championship game of the inaugural MASCAC Women's Ice Hockey Tournament in front of a sellout crowd at Hanaway Rink on Friday night.
