MASCAC Update on Fall 2021 Sport Competition
The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Presidents announced today a return to fall sports competition during the fall 2021 sports season. This includes the sports of men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, football, men’s golf, men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball.

Bridgewater State Earns NCAA Division III LGBTQ Athletics Department of the Year Award
The Bridgewater State University Department of Athletics & Recreation has been selected as the national 2020 recipient of the Division III LGBTQ Athletics Department/Conference of the Year Award. The inaugural Division III LGBTQ OneTeam Recognition Award winners were announced on Wednesday evening at the virtual NCAA Convention.

Framingham State Softball Signs Team IMPACT Recruit Lindsey Franco
The Framingham State softball program signed 13 year old Lindsey Franco from Holliston, Mass. in partnership with Team IMPACT Friday afternoon on the FSU campus. Franco signed a letter of intent to join the Rams softball program and plans on joining the team during games, practices and other team events throughout the year.

MCLA's National Girls and Women in Sports Day celebration continues to be a success
The MCLA Athletics Department held their annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day celebration on Saturday prior to the MASCAC basketball season finale. The Athletics department welcomed both adults and young girls to campus to participate in this year's popular event. This year's theme was "Play Fair, Play IX".

Mass. Maritime Collects Toys to Donate to Children's Cove
For the last several years, the Massachusetts Maritime Student-Athlete Advisory Committee has been collecting toys for Children's Cove. This year, they were able to collect 650 toys for the organization.
