1,610 Student-Athletes Earn Spot on Fall/Winter 2024 MASCAC All-Academic
A total of 1,610 student-athletes have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s Fall/Winter 2024 All-Academic team that was released earlier today by Commissioner Angela Baumann.

Westfield, MA — A total of 1,610 student-athletes have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s Fall/Winter 2024 All-Academic team that was released earlier today by Commissioner Angela Baumann.
Joining this year’s All-Academic team are Anna Maria, Marymount, Marywood, Rivier and Vermont State-Castleton.
Student-athletes who compete in championship varsity sports offered by each of the MASCAC institutions during the Fall and Winter 2024 athletic season and have achieved a 3.20 cumulative or semester-based grade point average during the semester are eligible for selection to the Fall/Winter All-Academic.
On the Fall/Winter 2024 MASCAC All-Academic Team, Bridgewater State led the way with 15 percent of the total number of student-athletes while Westfield State University was right behind at 14 percent. Worcester State University landed at 13 percent and Framingham State University at nine percent. Fitchburg State University and Salem State University finished with eight, Massachusetts Maritime had seven and MCLA five percent of all student-athletes on this year’s team.
"I want to congratulate the 2024 MASCAC Fall/Winter All-Academic Team honorees,” Commissioner Baumann said. “I am extremely proud to see the increase in the number of student-athletes achieving this honor”.
The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference, the nation’s oldest Division III men’s and women’s playing conference, has a rich and storied tradition of competitive success while celebrating excellence in the classroom. MASCAC member schools include Bridgewater State University, Fitchburg State University, Framingham State University, MCLA, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Salem State University, Westfield State University and Worcester State University. Two other institutions, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and Plymouth State University, are affiliate members of the conference in the sports of football and men’s ice hockey, while Western Connecticut State University joined the conference as a football affiliate member in 2013 and Vermont State-Castleton in 2024. Springfield College joined as men’s golf affiliates in 2019 with Marymount and Marywood beginning in 2024. Anna Maria and Rivier became affiliates in men’s and women’s ice hockey in 2024. Anna Maria becomes our ninth core member in 2025.
