MASCAC Women's Indoor Track and Field Weekly Awards 1/22
Kiara Abrantes, Serenity Sands and Grace Inacio of Bridgewater State repeat as the MASCAC Women's Indoor Track and Field weekly honorees after competing at the Branwen King-Smith Invitational over the weekend.

Abrantes set a school record and won a pair of events to help lead the Bears to a third-place finish at the Branwen Smith-King Invitational hosted by Tufts. Broke the BSU indoor mark in the 200-meter dash as she won the event with a time of 25.25 seconds. Also finished first in the 60-meter dash with a finals and career-best time of 7.82 seconds. Currently ranks seventh in all of Division III in the 200 and first in the East Region. She is also 32nd in all of Division III in the 60 and third in the East Region. 200 and first in the East Region. Also fifth in Division III in the 400 and first in the East Region. |

Sands captured top honors in the high jump with a season-best leap of 1.66m this past weekend at the Branwen Smith-King Invitational hosted by Tufts University. Inacio placed fourth in the 200-meter dash (27.00) and fifth in the finals of the 60-meter dash (8.00) at the Branwen Smith-King Invitational hosted by Tufts University.
