Naomi Cass and Grace Inacio of Bridgewater State plus Ciara Adu-Addo of Worcester State claim the MASCAC Women's Indoor Track and Field weekly awards.

Cass broke the school record in the 3,000-meter run to lead the Bears this past weekend at the River Hawk Invitational hosted by UMass Lowell and held at The Track at New Balance. Placed 14th in the 3,000 with a time of 10:10.49 as she eclipsed BSU Hall of Famer Molly Rouillard’s previous program mark of 10:19.00 set in 2013. Adu-Addo finished first in the long jump in her first meet of the season with a leap of 5.24m at the Wesleyan Indoor Invite. Had the winning jump on her first try of the season. |
Women's Indoor Rookie of the Week |
Inacio finished 50th out of all competitors in the 200-meter dash with a personal-best time of 26.09 seconds at the River Hawk Invitational hosted this past weekend by UMass Lowell and held at The Track at New Balance. Also finished 30th in the 60-meter dash with a preliminary time of 8.09 seconds, and ran a leg on the Bears’ 4x400-meter relay squad which place 16th with a time of 4:12.67.
