MASCAC Women's Indoor Track and Field Weekly Awards 2/25
Alison McDonough and Grace Inacio of Bridgewater State along with Elize Lee of Westfield State earn the MASCAC Women's Indoor Track and Field weekly accolades.
Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week |
McDonough broke her own school record and placed first in the 60-meter dash this past weekend at the Wheaton Post-Season Qualifier. Posted a time of 7.69 seconds in the 60 as she eclipsed her previous school standard of 7.72 seconds. Also captured top honors in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.86 seconds. Currently ranks 21st in all of Division III (1st in the East Region) in the 60-meter dash and 13th in the hurdles (2nd in the East Region). |

Lee won the long jump with a leap of 5.25 meters and the triple jump with a winning mark of 11.48 meters, and also took second in the 400 meters with a time of 1:00.49 at the Wheaton Post-Season Qualifier meet from Norton, Mass. on Saturday evening. |
Women's Indoor Rookie of the Week |
Inacio posted a personal-best time of 26.03 seconds to win the 200-meter dash at the Wheaton Post-Season Qualifier. Added a third-place performance in the 60-meter dash with a PR of 7.95 seconds. Currently ranks 13th in the East Region in the 200 and 17th in the 60. |
