MASCAC Women's Indoor Track and Field Weekly Awards 2/11
Kiara Abrantes and Serenity Sands of Bridgewater State along with Jailene Felix of Westfield State take home the MASCAC Women's Indoor Track and Field weekly awards.

Abrantes broke her own school indoor record in the 400-meter dash with a time of 55.78 seconds at the Bruce Lehane Scarlet & White Invitational hosted by Boston University. Placed 11th in the event at the meet competing against athletes from mostly Division I schools as well as track clubs. Eclipsed her previous indoor mark of 56.65 seconds set earlier this season at the Mini Meet also hosted by BU. Currently ranks sixth in all of Division III in the 400 and first in the East Region. Sands captured top honors in the high jump at the Harvard Crimson Open with a season-best leap of five feet, 6.5 inches (1.69m). Currently tied for sixth in all of Division III in the high jump and first in the East Region. Weekly Report 2/11 |

Felix finished second out of 19 runners in the 400, posting a personal-best time of 1:03.78 as the Owls earned a second place team finish at the CGA Bear Invitational from New London, Conn. on Friday. |
