Gwen Carpenter and Kelsey McGuill of Framingham State, Ab'c'de Patane of Mass. Maritime and Emily Bartlett of Worcester State were named to the National Fast Pitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region team.

The Worcester State duo of Emma Lanpher and Emily Bartlett have been named the 2024 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Player and Pitcher of the Year and head up the all-conference squad which is voted on by the coaches from around the conference.

Defending league champion Framingham State battled back through the elimination bracket to sweep a pair of games from top-seeded Westfield State by scores of 3-0 and 10-2 in the championship round of the 2024 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference softball championship at the Westfield State softball field on Sunday afternoon.

Framingham State University captured their second straight Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) softball tournament title on Sunday as tournament MVP Kelsi Gunarathne pitched a complete-game shutout with a career-high 13 strikeouts to help the second seeded Rams prevail 1-0 over the third seeded Westfield State Owls.

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Worcester State University softball team was crowned the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Tournament Champions on Sunday (May 8) as they swept Bridgewater State in two games. Worcester State's senior pitcher, Meghan Rich (Chelmsford, Mass.) was awarded the tournament Most Valuable Player (MVP) award as she listed a sweep in the circle to help her team to the triumph.
