A total of 1,220 student-athletes have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s Fall/Winter 2022 All-Academic team that was released earlier today by Commissioner Angela Baumann.

Fitchburg State Names Zachary Shaw Head Football Coach
Zachary Shaw has been hired by Fitchburg State University as the head coach of the Falcons' football program and athletics recruiting coordinator as announced by Matthew Burke, Senior Director of Athletics and Recreation on Monday morning. Shaw was most recently the offensive coordinator at Elmhurst University.

University of Massachusetts Dartmouth quarterback Dante Aviles-Santos has been named recipient of the New England Football Writers College Division season Gold Helmet award presented to the most valuable player in Divisions II and III. The award will be presented at the New England Football Writers Captains and Awards Banquet on Thursday, December 8, at the Sheraton Framingham (Mass.) Hotel and Conference Center.
