2021-22 MASCAC Men's Basketball News

Five members of the Bridgewater State University men's basketball team have been named to the 2021-2022 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Courts which recognizes men's basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season.

A total of 891 student-athletes have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s 2022 Winter/Spring All-Academic Team that was released earlier today by Commissioner Angela Baumann.

29 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) student-athletes have been honored for their outstanding sportsmanship as members of the 2022 Winter Sportsmanship Team. The MASCAC Sportsmanship Team is intended to recognize one student-athlete from each team, in every sport that best demonstrates the values of the MASCAC and its Sportsmanship Statement, regardless of their overall performance or statistics for the season.

Sean Bryan was honored on Wednesday with selection to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division III All-America Third Team as voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division III.

Following the completion of the winter sports season, Westfield State has taken the lead in the 2021-22 Howard C. Smith Cup standings.
