MASCAC Volleyball Weekly Awards 11/18
After winning the MASCAC Tournament title, the Bridgewater State duo of Lily Welch and Ava Crane take home the MASCAC Volleyball Offensive, Defensive and Rookie of the Week accolades.

Welch, the MASCAC Tournament MVP averaged 12.5 kills and recorded a .351 hitting percentage during the Bears MASCAC title run. She also averaged 16.5 digs and five blocks while recording 42 receptions with just two receiving errors. Notched 12 kills, 13 digs, six assisted blocks and an ace in a 3-0 semifinal round win over Framingham State; and tallied 13 kills, 20 digs and four blocks (two solo) in a 3-2 come-from-behind championship match victory on the road over Westfield State.

Crane averaged 10.5 kills, 18 digs and 2.5 blocks during the Bears MASCAC title run. Also recorded 55 receptions with just two receiving errors. Notched eight kills, 22 digs, two assisted blocks and 24 receptions in a 3-0 semifinal round win over Framingham State; and tallied 13 kills, 14 digs, three blocks (one solo), one ace and 31 receptions in a 3-2 come-from-behind win over Westfield State in the conference championship match. |
