For the second consecutive year, Worcester State University is the champion of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference in women's volleyball. The top-seeded Lancers took down #3 Westfield State 3-0 on Saturday evening in the MASCAC Championship match, played at Worcester State's John P. Brissette Court. Set scores were 25-10, 25-9, 25-12.

Worcester State Women’s Volleyball Claims its First-Ever MASCAC Tournament Championship

For the first time ever, the Worcester State University women's volleyball team has been crowned the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) tournament champions as the first seeded Lancers downed the fifth seeded Bridgewater State Bears by a score of 3-0 in the semifinal round, and then defeated the Framingham State Rams by a score of 3-1 in the championship round.
