MASCAC Women's Volleyball Weekly Awards 9/4
The trio of Salem State's Abigail O'Connor, MCLA's Julia Conturso and Framingham State's Natalie Reynolds are the first MASCAC Women's Volleyball Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week award winners.

O'Connor averaged 15 kills and four blocks, while tallying five aces, with a 3.75 k/s average for a .452 hitting percentage in the Vikings’ opening tri-meet sweep of SUNY-Old Westbury and Albertus Magnus. Had 15 kills, three aces and four blocks with just one error in a 3-1 opening match win over the Panthers. She followed up with 15 kills, four blocks, and four digs in a 3-1 victory against the Falcons. |
Defensive Player of the Week |
Conturso averaged 4.25 digs per set (51 total) and added 14 assists to lead the Trailblazers to a 2-1 opening weekend. Collected 13 digs in a five-set win over SUNY Cobleskill, 15 digs in a 3-0 setback to Keuka College and 23 digs in a 3-1 win over SUNY Canton. |
Rookie of the Week |
Reynolds tallied 12 kills with a .458 hitting percentage, three service aces and a block in a 1-1 week for the Rams. Finished with eight kills and a .615 hitting percentage, three aces, a dig and block in the 3-0 win over Dean. |
