Emily McCormack of Bridgewater State along with the duo of Julia Robak and Kylie Tomasetti of Westfield State grab the MASCAC Offensive, Defensive and Rookie of the Week awards after the start of the 2024 season this weekend.

Emily McCormack, Bridgewater State
Graduate, Forward, E. Bridgewater, Mass.

McCormack potted her first goal in a BSU uniform in the Bears’ 7-2 setback to NCAA qualifier North Central College.

Defensive Player of the Week
Julia Robak, Westfield State
Junior, Goalie, Chicopee, Mass.

Robak finished with 10 saves, .833 save percentage and 0.90 GAA over 200 minutes of play in an 0-0-2 week for the Owls. Made eight saves in the 0-0 draw with Sewanee (TN) in the season opener and added two more in the 2-2 draw with Maryville (TN) in the Maryville Fall Classic Tournament.

Rookie of the Week
Kylie Tomasetti. Westfield State
First Year, Midfield, Northborough, Mass.

Tomasetti had a key role anchoring the Owls back line in a pair of draws with Sewanee (0-0) and Maryville (2-2). Played the full 90 minutes in both matches at the center back position.
