MASCAC Softball Weekly Awards 5/13
After leading the Rams to their third straight MASCAC Softball Tournament title, the Framingham State trio of Gwendolyn Carpenter, Ally Moran and Haley Jensen earn the MASCAC Player, Pitcher and Rookie of the Week.

Player of the Week |
Carpenter earned Tournament MVP honors after batting .526 (10-19) with six doubles, a home run, seven RBI, seven runs scored, three walks, a stolen base, .609 on-base percentage and 1.000 slugging percentage to guide the Rams to their third straight MASCAC Tournament title. Went 4-for-8 with two doubles, a grand slam, four RBI and two runs scored in the championship game series doubleheader sweep of Westfield State. Went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in the 6-3 semifinal win over Worcester State. |
Pitcher of the Week |
Moran finished the MASCAC Tournament with a 2-1 record with two complete games, 2.80 ERA, 10 strikeouts, 10 earned runs and three walks while helping the Rams to their third straight MASCAC Tournament title. Threw a one hit shutout with three strikeouts in the game one championship win. Pitched all 13 innings in the 11-10 quarterfinal win over Worcester State. |
Rookie of the Week |
Jensen batted .444 (8-18) with two doubles, five RBI and six runs scored as the Rams claimed their third straight MASCAC Tournament title. Went 3-for-6 with a double, RBI and two runs scored in the championship doubleheader sweep of Westfield State. |
