Sarah Hough of Westfield State, Emily Bartlett of Worcester State and Makayla Ansell of Bridgewater State grab the MASCAC Softball Player, Pitcher and Rookie of the Week honors after winning leagues games over the past week.

Player of the Week |
Hough batted .714 (5-7) with three doubles, three walks, RBI and two runs scored along with a 1.143 slugging percentage and .800 on-base percentage in a 3-0 week for the Owls. Was 2-for-2 with two doubles, RBI, two walks and run scored in the 5-3 win over Trinity (Conn.). Went 3-for-3 with a double, walk and run scored in the 9-3 win over Fitchburg State. |
Pitcher of the Week |
Bartlett went 3-0 over 21 innings, throwing three complete games, allowing eight hits, an earned run with 25 strikeouts and a 0.33 ERA for the Lancers. Went the distance, only allowing three hits with 11 strikeouts in the 4-0 win over Lasell. Went seven innings, giving up one hit with seven strikeouts and three walks in the 7-0 win over Salem State. |
Rookie of the Week |
Ansell batted .476 with three doubles, a stolen base, three runs and seven RBI in a 4-2 week for the Bears. Went 6-for-9 with a stolen base, two runs and four RBI in a doubleheader sweep of Eastern Nazarene; 2-for-6 with a pair of doubles and a run in a MASCAC split with MCLA; and 2-for-6 with a double, a run and two RBI in a non-conference split with Curry. |
