MASCAC Softball Weekly Report 4/17
Gwendolyn Carpenter of Framingham State, Erin Donlan of Massachusetts Maritime and Amanda Adamuska of Worcester State are the MASCAC Softball Player, Pitcher and Rookie of the Week after earning conference victories over the last week.
Player of the Week |
Carpenter hit .667 (12-18) with three doubles, two home runs, six runs scored, 11 RBI, 1.167 slugging percentage and .727 on-base percentage in a 5-1 week for the Rams. Went 2-for-4 with run scored and two RBI in win over Babson. Went 3-for-6 with a double and RBI in sweep of UMass Boston. Was 5-for-5, including two home runs and seven RBI in sweep of MCLA. |
Pitcher of the Week |
Donlan pitched a complete game two-hit shutout in the Buccaneers’ 5-0 conference win over Fitchburg State on Saturday afternoon. She no hit the Falcons for four innings and struck out two in the victory. |
Rookie of the Week |
Adamuska batted .600 (6-10) with two doubles, three RBI, two runs scored, .800 slugging percentage and .600 on-base percentage in a 2-2 week for the Lancers. Went 4-for-6 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored in the doubleheader split with Westfield State. Added a double and RBI in the 3-1 victory over Rhode Island College. |
