Kelsey McGuill of Framingham State along with the Bridgewater State duo of Madelyn Klingel and Amelia Blake take home the MASCAC Softball Player, Pitcher and Rookie of the Week honors after helping their team secure a chance to host in this week's MASCAC Tournament.

McGuill attbed .636 (7-11) with four doubles, two home runs, six runs scored, eight RBI and a 1.545 slugging percentage in a 3-1 week for the Rams. Was 5-for-6 with three doubles, a home run and seven RBI in a sweep of Salem State. Went 1-for-2 with a home run, scoring the game’s only run in a 1-0 win over Westfield State. |

Klingel went 1-0 in the circle, including a no-hitter, in two appearances in the circle for the Bears last week. Gave up just one unearned run on eight hits with two walks and ten strikeouts in 12 innings work as she posted a 0.00 earned run average. Tossed a five-inning no-hitter in an 8-0 MASCAC win over Mass. Maritime allowing just a walk with seven strikeouts. Gave up just one unearned run on eight hits over seven innings with a walk and a pair of strikeouts in a 2-1 conference victory over Worcester State to secure the regular season title and top seed in the tournament. |

Blake batted .667 (6-9) with three doubles, a stolen base, three runs and two RBI in three games for the Bears last week. Went 4-for-6 with three doubles, a stolen base and a run scored in a MASCAC sweep of Worcester State to claim the regular season title and top seed in the tournament; and 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI in a 10-1 conference victory over Mass. Maritime. |
