MASCAC Softball Weekly Report 3/21
Alexandra Ruprecht of Bridgewater State, Molly Glynn of Worcester State and Shelby Roode of Framingham State take home the MASCAC Softball Player, Pitcher and Rookie of the Week after defeating their non-conference foes last week.

Player of the Week |
Ruprecht batted .571 (4-7) with two home runs, two walks, a stolen base, five run scored and eight runs batted in during a 2-1 week for the Bears. Also posted a ,600 on base percentage and an impressive 1.429 slugging percentage. Went 3-for-6 with a pair of home runs, a walk, three runs and six RBI in a doubleheader split with Rhode Island College, and 1-for-1 with a walk, sacrifice fly, stolen base, two runs and two RBI in a 10-0 victory over Dean College. |
Pitcher of the Week |
Glynn over 13.2 innings and three appearances was 1-1, allowed just two runs (one earned) for an 0.51 ERA and struck out seven batters. Tossed a complete game four-hit shutout in an 11-0 victory at Morrisville State in Myrtle Beach. She struck out five batters while giving up just one walk.

Rookie of the Week |
Roode batted .333 (7-for-21) with three doubles, three RBI and two runs scored in a 4-4 week for the Rams. Went 2-for-3 with a double in the Rams 4-1 win over St. Lawrence University. Went 2-for-4 with a double in the Rams 4-3 win over Springfield College and added two RBI in the Rams 6-3 win over Carroll University. |
