MASCAC Softball Weekly Report 5/17
After capturing the 2021 MASCAC Softball Tournament Championship, Bridgewater State also swept this week's weekly honors. Madison Synan, Kelley Reichert, and Molly Thibaudeau were named Player, Pitcher, and Rookie of the Week presented by GEICO.

Synan batted .556 (5-for-9) with two doubles, two walks, a run scored and two RBI in the Bears’ MASCAC Championship Series victory over
Framingham State. Also posted a .636 on base percentage and a .778 slugging percentage. Went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles in a 6-1 game one setback to the Rams, and 3-for-3 with a walk, run and two RBI in BSU's 10-5 victory in the decisive game three.

Reichert went 2-1 in the circle with two complete games in the Bears’ MASCAC Championship Series victory over Framingham State. Fanned
16 batters and posted a 2.14 earned run average in 19 2/3 innings of work in the series. Allowed one unearned run on five hits over 6 2/3 innings with a walk and nine strikeouts in the Bears' 3-2 game two
win. Did not allow an earned run and scattered five hits in a complete game effort with one strikeout as the Bears' captured the series title with a 10-5 victory in the decisive game three.

Thibaudeau batted .429 (3-for-7) with a double, two run scored and an RBI in the Bears’ MASCAC Championship Series victory over Framingham State.
