Amber White and Courtney Leddy of Bridgewater State are the MASCAC softball weekly honorees after helping the Bears win the MASCAC Championship Sunday.

White earned MASCAC Tournament MVP honors after leading the Bears to the MASCAC Softball title. Finished the tournament with a 3-0 record, 0.33 ERA and 18 strikeouts. Pitched a complete game shutout with 10 strikeouts and five hits in the 6-0 MASCAC Quarterfinal win over Framingham State. Threw her second complete game shutout, only allowing three hits in the 6-0 MASCAC Semifinal win over Worcester State. Only allowed one run on six hits with four strikeouts to lead the Bears to a second straight confernence title in the 8-1 MASCAC Championship win over Framingham State.

Leddy batted .556 (5-9) with a double and team-high five runs scored during the Bears’ MASCAC Tournament title run. Went 1-3 and scored a run in a 6-0 MASCAC Quarterfinal win over Framingham State, 1-3 with a run in a 6-0 Semifinal round win over Worcester State, and 3-3 with a double and three runs scored in an 8-1 MASCAC Championship win over Framingham State.
