Bridgewater State Men, Women Earn United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Honors

The Bridgewater State University men’s and women's soccer programs were recognized today by the United Soccer Coaches as one of 783 teams (295 men, 488 women) across all three Divisions to earn the Team Academic Award for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Salem State Comes Up Short in NCAA Tournament, Loses to No. 6 Connecticut College in Penalty Shootout

The No. 6 Connecticut College men's soccer team advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament by outlasting Salem State in a penalty kick shootout on Saturday afternoon at Freeman field. Following a scoreless 90 minutes of regulation and 20 minutes of sudden death overtime, Jack Marvel (Marion, Mass.) scored the deciding marker to win the penalty shootout by a count of 3-2.
