Naomi Cass of Bridgewater State and Grace Avery of Framingham State claim the MASCAC Women's Cross Country Runner and Rookie of the Week after competing at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational this past weekend.

Runner of the Week
Naomi Cass, Bridgewater State
Junior, Westport, Mass.

Cass placed 19th in a field of 346 runners this past weekend at the 51st Annual UMass Dartmouth Invitational held on the UMD camps. Completed the rain-soaked and muddy five-kilometer course in a personal-best time of 18:14.51. Ranked first among Division III runners.

Freshman, E. Bridgewater, Mass.

Avery was the top finisher for the Rams, completing the rainy 5k course at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational with a time of 21:51.
