MASCAC Women's Lacrosse Weekly Awards 3/4
The Massachusetts Maritime duo of Cassie Llewellyn and Sarah Narr are the first MASCAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player and Rookie of the Week while Victoria Paine of Westfield State is our first-ever Defensive Player of the Week.

Llweellyn scored 12 goals and had four assists in a 2-0 week for the Buccaneers. She scored a game-high five in the team's win over Regis and seven in their victory over Emerson. She was 6-for-8 on Free Position shots. Picked up 11 ground balls, nine against Regis, won 12 draw controls, eight against Emerson, and caused six total turnovers on the week. |
Defensive Player of the Week
Victoria Paine, Westfield State
Senior, Defense, Dudley, Mass.
Paine finished with five caused turnovers and five ground balls as the Owls emerged with a season-opening 17-12 win over the Golden Bears.
Rookie of the Week |
Naar scored 10 goals and adding three assists with eight groundballs, three draw controls, two caused turnovers and a 73.3 shots on goal percentage in a 2-0 week for the Buccaneers. Had five goals, six groundballs and a caused turnover in the 16-6 win over Regis and added five goals and three assists with three draws, two groundballs and a caused turnover in the 18-7 win over Emerson. |
