Clare Conway of Worcester State and Nicole Orlowski of Fitchburg State take home the MASCAC Women's Lacrosse Player and Rookie of the Week after registering non-conference victories last week.

Conway scored 11 goals and added an assist for 12 points with five ground balls and four caused turnovers in a 1-1 week for the Lancers. Registered the third highest single-game goal total in school history with nine goals in a 14-10 win over Keene State. Finished with 15 shots, 12 of them on goal (80%), and scored seven times in the first half as the Lancers took a 10-4 lead into halftime. Added two ground balls and two caused turnovers in the win. She also had a pair of goals, three ground balls and two caused turnovers earlier in the week against Western New England. |
Rookie of the Week |
Orlowski registered seven points on six goals and one assist as well as three ground balls, four draw controls and two caused turnovers in a 2-0 week for the Green and Gold. Netted three goals, one ground ball, two draw controls and two caused turnovers in a 16-12 triumph over UMass Dartmouth on Tuesday before adding three goals, one helper, two ground balls and two draw controls in a 21-7 victory against Regis College on Friday. |
