Russell tallied nine points with seven goals and two assists with 11 ground balls and eight draw controls in a 2-0 week for the Vikings. Scored five goals and an assist with six ground balls and two caused turnovers in a 14-6 victory over Wheelock College and added two goals, an assist with five ground balls and four draw controls in the 10-5 win over New England College.
Jackie Connors Worcester State
Junior • Midfield • Ashland, Mass.
Connors registered seven goals and two assists for nine points to go along with nine ground balls and 11 draw controls in a 2-0 week for the Lancers. Recorded four goals and two assists with five ground balls and seven draws in a 20-10 win over Hope College and three goals, four ground balls, four draws and five caused turnovers in a 14-9 triumph over SUNY Morrisville.
Corrine DeSimone Fitchburg State
Sophomore • Midfield • Dennis, Mass.
DeSimone netted six points on five goals and an assist week with six ground balls in a 2-0 week for the Falcons. Scored three goals with an assist and three ground balls in the 12-6 win over Rivier University.
