Women's Lacrosse Weekly Award Winners 5/4
Lauren Geary and Marissa Yowell of Bridgewater State have earned the MASCAC Women's Lacrosse Player and Rookie of the Week honors after leading the Bears to the MASCAC Tournament crown.

Geary notched 13 goals and two assists for 15 points and added 13 ground balls, 32 draw controls and six caused turnovers to lead the Bears to the MASCAC Tournament Championship and Tournament MVP honors. Tallied six goals, seven ground balls, 14 draws and three caused turnovers in a 22-8 quarterfinal round win over Salem State, three goals, an assist, five ground balls, nine draws and two caused turnovers in a 19-11 semifinal round victory over Fitchburg State and four goals, one assist and nine draws in a 13-12 overtime win over Westfield State in the title game.

Yowell notched 13 goals and five assists for 18 points in three games during the Bears' MASCAC Tournament run. Also added 10 ground balls and a pair of draw controls. Tallied five goals, an assist, five ground balls, two draws and a caused turnover in a 22-8 quarterfinal round win over Salem State, seven goals, an assist and three ground balls in a 19-11 semifinal round victory over Fitchburg State and a goal and three assists to go along with two ground balls in a 13-12 overtime win over Westfield State in the title game.
