Bridgewater State's Lauren Geary and Marissa Yowell are the MASCAC Women's Lacrosse Player and Rookie of the Week after helping the Bears to their first NCAA Tournament victory.

Geary tallied six goals and an assist for seven points in two games for the Bears at the NCAA Tournament. Also added five ground balls, seven draw controls and five caused turnovers. Notched three goals, two ground balls, six draws and three caused turnovers in the Bears’ 16-9 first round victory over Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. Registered three goals, an assists, three ground balls, one draw and two caused turnovers in a 22-9 second round setback to #4 ranked Bowdoin College.

Notched four goals and a pair off assists for six points to go along with a ground ball and two caused turnovers in the Bears’ 16-9 first round victory over Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. Also netted a pair of goals in a 22-9 second round setback to #4 ranked Bowdoin College.
