Griffin tallied 21 points on 17 goals and four assists with 17 draw controls, eight ground balls and seven caused turnovers in a 3-0 week for the Owls. Scored four goals and three assists in a 16-12 win over Lasell College, seven goals in the 12-9 win over Nichols College and added six goals and an assist in the 19-12 win over Worcester State.
Carrie Long Fitchburg State
Freshman • Midfield • Foxborough, Mass.
Long totaled 10 points with eight goals and two assists to go along with six ground balls, 14 draw controls and five caused turnovers in a 3-0 week for the Falcons. Registered five points on four goals and one assist with four draw controls in an 18-2 win over Elms College before adding two points on a pair of goals as well as three ground balls, four draw controls and one caused turnover in a 12-11 win over Bridgewater State.
Correia earned first two collegiate victories in goal in a 2-0 week for the Buccaneers, recording 5.00 goals against average and .667 saves percentage. Made 11 saves in 11-6 triumph over MCLA and added nine stops in 11-4 win over Wheelock College.
