Carlen Bertrand of MCLA along with the Plymouth State duo of Karlee Lehner and Gracie Menicci are the first-ever MASCAC Women's Ice Hockey Player, Goalie and Rookie of the Week honorees.

Sophomore, Defense, Timmons, Ontario

Bertrand scored four goals, including a pair of game-winners and two assists leading MCLA to a home-and-home season opening sweep over New England College. Had 2 goals and an assist with a +3 rating in the Trailblazers’ 4-1 home season opening win over NEC followed by another 2 goals and assist in the rematch to lead MCLA to the 3-2 decision. |

Goalie of the Week |

Lehner turned aside all 30 shots she faced to post a shutout in the season opener on Friday. Lehner made 15 saves in the third period alone and held KSC to 0-for-5 on the power play in the Panthers’ 6-0 win. |

Rookie of the Week |

Menicci registered a pair of assists as Plymouth State split a weekend series with Keene State. Menicci assisted on the game-winner in PSU’s 6-0 win over the Owls on Friday night, finishing the game as a +4 rating. In Saturday’s 3-2, overtime setback she assisted on the third period goal to make it a 1-1 game. |
