Kylie Grassi of Bridgewater State and Jacqueline Schels of Framingham State earn the MASCAC Women's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week honors as they head into this week's tournament.

Grassi scored 21 points and added five rebounds, five assists, a blocked shot and a career-best seven steals in the Bears’ 81-52 MASCAC win over Westfield State. Connected on 7 of 13 field goal attempts, including 3-for-5 from behind the arc, in the victory as the Bears secured the MASCAC regular season title and the top seed in the conference tournament. |

Rookie of the Week |

Schels averaged 23 points and eight rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Rams, including 31 points and eight boards in the win over Fitchburg State to secure the number two seed in the tournament. Had 15 points and eight rebounds in the 76-67 setback to Worcester State. Weekly Report 2/24 |
