Kylie Gates of Salem State and Lena Waldron of Worcester State grab the MASCAC Women's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week honors after both averaged double digit points in league action last week.

Gates averaged 23.5 points on 18-for-38 (47.4%) shooting, 7.5 rebounds and seven assists in a 2-0 week for the Vikings. Posted 20 points converting 8-of-14 field goal attempts, including going a perfect 4-for-4 (100.0%) from behind the arc with eight rebounds and six assists in a 75-38 win over MCLA. She tied a career-high with 27 points with three three-pointers, seven rebounds and eight assists in an 82-73 victory over Worcester State. |
