Kelsey Yelle of Framingham State and Ernidia Goncalves of Salem State earn the first MASCAC Women's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week of February after tallying double digit points in their contests last week.

Yelle averaged 27.5 points and nine rebounds while shooting 83% from the floor (26-31) in a 1-1 week for the Rams. Scored 23 points, connecting on a perfect 11-of-11 from the field, with 11 boards in the 82-79 setback to Westfield State. Scored a career-high 32 points, adding seven rebounds and two assists in the 92-68 win over Fitchburg State. |
Rookie of the Week |
Goncalves posted 19 points on 48.5% (16-33) shooting and 9.5 rebounds in two games for the Vikings. Scored 20 points, going 9-for-17 (52.9%) from the floor with seven boards and three steals in a 77-61 setback to Bridgewater State. Followed up with an 18-point, 12 rebound game in the 69-59 setback to Westfield State. |
