Sydney Bradbury of Bridgewater State and Octaviana Williams of Westfield State claim the MASCAC Women's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week awards after their teams were victorious during the opening week of league play.

Bradbury averaged 15 points, four rebounds, two assists and 2.5 steals in a 2-0 week for the Bears while shooting 43.5% (10-23) from the floor and 50% (7-14) from behind the arc. Scored 20 points to go along with three rebounds and three steals in a 75-58 road victory over defending MASCAC champion Framingham State. Drained six three-pointers in the win over the Rams, including four in the fourth quarter. Notched 10 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals in just 17 minutes of action in the 92-59 triumph over Salem State. |
Rookie of the Week |
Williams averaged nine points, 8.7 rebounds, three assists and 1.3 steals in a 1-2 week for the Owls, including 17 rebounds to go with eight points and six assists in the 76-72 setback to Coast Guard. Scored 11 points with five rebounds, two assists and two steals in the win over MCLA and eight points with four rebounds in the 89-71 setback to Framingham State. |
