Katty Haidul of Framingham State and Kylie Grassi of Bridgewater State claim the MASCAC Women's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week honors after leading their teams to key conference wins last week.

Haidul averaged a double-double of 17.5 points and 15.5 rebounds along with two steals and 1.5 assists in a 2-0 week for the Rams to remain undefeated in league action. Scored 19 points with a career-best 24 rebounds plus three steals and two assists in the 75-68 OT win over Bridgewater State. Hit the game-tying three in the final ten seconds to send game to OT. Added 16 points and seven boards in the 83-65 win over Salem State. |
Rookie of the Week |
Grassi averaged 18.3 points, three rebounds, 2.3 assists and three steals in a 2-1 MASCAC week for the Bears while shooting 88.5% (23-26) from the free throw line. Scored a career-high 23 points to go along with four rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot in a 95-86 win at Westfield State, and tallied 15 points, four assists and four steals in a 97-42 victory over Fitchburg State. Also notched 17 points, four rebounds, three assists, three steals and a block in a 75-68 overtime setback to Framingham State. |
