Runner of the Week
Kevin McBirney, Bridgewater State
Senior, E. Bridgewater, Mass.

McBirney placed 11th out of a field of 237 harriers this past weekend at the Keene State Invitational. Covered the eight-kilometer course in a time of 25:30.7 as he helped the Bears to a fourth place finish in the team standings.

Rookie of the Week
Samuel Edwards, Fitchburg State
Freshamn, Townsend, Mass.

Edwards entered the chute in 94th place at with a time of 28:07.50 for the Falcons at the 2024 Keene State Invitational on Saturday to help guide Fitchburg State to a 13th place finish on Saturday.
