MASCAC Men's Outdoor Track and Field Weekly Awards 4/8
The Fitchburg State duo of Samuel Edwards and Liam Bourassa take home the MASCAC Men's Outdoor Track and Field weekly accolades after competing at the Jim Sheehan Invite.

Edwards took top honors in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a DIII New England qualifying time of 10:03.17, while adding a second place time of 2:05.25 in the 800 meter both personal bests for the Falcons at the 2025 Jim Sheehan Invitational on Saturday. Currently 10th regionally in the steeplechase. |

Bourassa finished first overall in the javelin with an All-New England qualifying throw of 62.99 meters, while placing first in the shot put, first in the hammer throw (personal best) and second in the discus with tosses of 13.82 meters, 52.46 meters and 44.48 meters for the Falcons at the 2025 Jim Sheehan Invitational on Saturday. Currently ninth in the javelin with his throw from the weekend. Weekly Report 4/8 |
