Jacques set a new PR in the 60m prelims at the New England DIII indoor Championship of 6.93 on Friday before claiming sixth for All-New England honors in the event final Saturday with a 6.94. |
Men's Indoor Field Athlete and Rookie of the Week
Alex Huynh, Bridgewater State
Freshman, Stoughton, Mass.
Huynh broke his own school record and earned All-New England honors in the high jump at the Division III New
England Indoor Championships held at The Track at New Balance. Placed second in the event with a leap
of 2.05m as he eclipsed his previous school indoor standard of 2.02m recorded earlier this season at the
Reggie Open. Also placed fourth and earned All-New England honors in the long jump with a personal-best leap
of 6.98m. Currently ranks 11th in all of Division III in the high jump.
