Sylven ran to a third-place finish in the men’s 5,000 meters, dropping his personal best time by almost 27 seconds by crossing the tape in 15:28.94 at the Harvard Invitational meet in Cambridge, Mass. on Friday. |
Men's Indoor Field Athlete and Rookie of the Week
Alex Huynh, Bridgewater State
Freshman, Stoughton, Mass.
Huynh broke the school record in the high jump last week at the Reggie Open held
at the Reggie Lewis Center. Captured top honors in the event with a leap of 2.02m
as he eclipsed the Bears’ previous indoor standard of 1.97 set by Exondus Barnes in
2020. Currently tied for 17th in all of Division III in the high jump and ranks third in
the East Region.
