MASCAC Men's Indoor Track and Field Weekly Awards 3/5
Kevin McBirney and Michael Neitlich of Bridgewater State along with Cameron Monette of Fitchburg State earn the MASCAC Men's Indoor Track and Field weekly honors after the trio faced off at the NEICAAA Championships this past weekend.

Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week |
McBirney captured the meet title and earned All-NEICAAA honors in the 800-meter run this past weekend at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships held at The Track & New Balance. Posted a winning 800 time of 1:54.04 at the meet which featured competition from all three NCAA divisions. |
Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week |
Monette placed fifth overall in the weight throw with a personal best toss of 16.82 meters, over a foot further than his previous best throw, to earn All-NEICAAA honors for the Falcons at the 2024 All-New England Championships on Friday. |

Neilich garnered All-NEICAAA accolades in the 500-meter dash this past weekend at the New England Intercollegiate
Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships held at The Track at New Balance. Placed seventh in the finals
with a time of 1:06.08 He was also seventh (1:06.03) in Friday’s preliminaries. The meet featured competition from all
three NCAA divisions.
