Framingham State's Nardizzi, Sinha, Salem State's Filetti Named to United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team
After earning All-Conference accolades last month, Framingham State's Bryce Nardizzi and Kunphel Sinha along with Salem State's Patrick Filetti were named to the United Soccer Coaches Division III All-Region II team as announced by the organization this week.
After earning All-Conference accolades last month, Framingham State's Bryce Nardizzi and Kunphel Sinha along with Salem State's Patrick Filetti were named to the United Soccer Coaches Division III All-Region II team as announced by the organization this week.
MASCAC Offensive Player of the Year, Nardizzi led the MASCAC in all four major offensive categories. He registered 15 goals with eight assists for 38 points and took 105 shots. Nardizzi was 3-for-3 on penalty kicks and registered three game-winning goals on the season. This is the third time Bryce has been named MASCAC Player of the Year, he earned the same honors after the 2018 & 2019 seasons.
Sinha earned his second All-MASCAC honor after being named to the first team last season. This season, Sinha started in all 16 games he played scoring three goals and assisting on three others with two game-winners.
Filetti, is a three-time MASCAC Defensive Player of the Year; three-time All-MASCAC first-team selection. A two-time captain and leader of the Vikings' defense, Salem State allowed just five goals to conference opponents in 2022, which included a 0.71 goals against average. The Vikings have gone 18-1-2 in the regular season during Filetti's career.
