After winning the Boston Landing Collegiate Invitational, the Salem State trio of Landyn Greatorex, Will Nepveu and James Tatro earn the MASCAC Men's Ice Hockey Player, Goalie and Rookie of the Week awards.

Landyn Greatorex, Salem State

Greatorex had a goal and four assists for the Vikings at the 2025 Boston Landing Collegiate Invitational sponsored by Noble + Energy held at Warrior Ice Arena this past weekend. The junior tied a career-high with three assists in a 4-3 overtime victory over Nichols and had a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win over Middlebury in the championship, earning all-tournament honors. |
Goalie of the Week |
Nepveu made 76 saves with a .950 save percentage and 1.98 GAA in a 2-0 week for the Vikings. Behind his 40-save effort, Salem State claimed the 2025 Boston Landing Collegiate Invitational Championship on Sunday, January 5 with a 4-1 win over Middlebury. The tournament sponsored by Noble + Energy was held at Warrior Ice Arena in Brighton. Nepveu was named BLCI Tournament MVP after registering two wins in net, including a 4-3 overtime victory in the opener against Nichols on Saturday. |
Rookie of the Week |
Tatro had three goals and an assist over two games at the 2025 Boston Landing Collegiate Invitational sponsored by Noble + Energy held at Warrior Ice Arena this past weekend. The freshman notched a goal in an opening round 4-3 overtime win over Nichols and added a pair of scores and an assist, including a shorthanded goal, to ice the game in a 4-1 victory over Middlebury in the championship. |
