MASCAC Men's Golf Weekly Awards 9/17
After competing at the Duke Nelson Invitational over the weekend, Mat Gover of MCLA and Matthew Kumpulanian of Springfield claim the first MASCAC Men's Golf Athlete and Rookie of the Week awards of the year.

Gover finished second shooting a two-over 73 with four birdies at Norwich University’s Tony Mariano Invitational at the Country Club of Barre (Vermont) and finished tied for 13th place at the Duke Nelson Invitational hosted by Middlebury College at the Ralph Myhre Golf Club with a two day total of 149 (76, 73) with six birdies on the weekend. |

Rookie of the Week |

Kumpulanian tied for 40th at the Duke Nelson Invitational with a two-day total of 154 as he opened the tournament with a 78 before turning in a 76 on Sunday. He finished the weekend with 21 pars and three birdies in his 36 holes. Weekly Report 9/17 |
