Omri Merryman of Salem State and Kenneth Rogers Jr. of Westfield State take home the MASCAC Men's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week accolades.

Merryman averaged 25.5 points, shooting 50% (16-32) from the field, 43.8% (7-16) from beyond the arc, and 80% (12-15) from the free-throw line, while also grabbing 7.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Vikings. The sophomore scored 21 points on 7-of-14 shooting, including 3-of-6 from three, and pulled down nine rebounds in a setback to Westfield State. He then followed up with a 30-point performance on 9-of-18 shooting, along with six rebounds, in a 74-69 win over Bridgewater State. |
Rookie of the Week |
Rogers averaged 16.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game in a 2-0 week for the Owls. Rogers netted 24 points and 4 steals in a 78-63 win at Framingham State, and shot 52 percent from the floor for the week. |
