Brandon Goris of Worcester State and Kenneth Rogers Jr. of Westfield State claim the MASCAC Men's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week after leading their teams to conference wins last week.

Goris averaged 33.5 points, seven steals, 6.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists while shooting 67.5 percent (27-40) in a 2-0 week for the Lancers. Scored 44 points on 75 percent shooting, including 10 in overtime along with nine rebounds, eight assists and seven steals in the 104-99 win over Salem State. Added a 23 point, seven steal, four rebound and three assist performance in the 99-86 win over Bridgewater State. |

Rogers came up four assists shy of a triple double, pouring in 26 points, 19 rebounds, and six assists to help Westfield hold on to a 99-95 win over Fitchburg State on Wednesday night. It was the 13th time this season Rogers, Jr. scored 20 or more points and his 12th double-double of the year. |
