Westfield State's Rogers Jr., Worcester State's Goris Earn D3hoops.com and NABC Postseason Honors

After claiming the MASCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Year honors, Kenneth Rogers Jr. of Westfield State and Brandon Goris of Worcester State claim postseason accolades from d3hoops.com and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).
Rogers Jr. capped off an outstanding first year with the Owls winning not only MASCAC Player of the Year but also Rookie of the Year accolades. He can now add d3hoops.com Region One Rookie of the Year honors to his trophy case along with a spot on their third team and NABC All-District Second team.
He finished the 2024-25 season with averages of 18.5 points, 8.9 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.7 steals per game, helping fuel the Owls to a 21-7 overall record, and a 9-3 mark in conference play, where the Owls won the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season and tournament titles. The Owls advanced to the NCAA Division III tournament before falling to #5 ranked Randolph Macon.
Landing on the d3hoops.com and NABC second team, Goris, a senior from Bronx, N.Y., averaged 17.6 points while totaling 131 assists, 74 steals and 54.3 field goal percentage on the year which were all in the top five of the MASCAC. In the overtime victory over Salem State, Goris tied the Lancers single-game scoring record at third with 44 points while also collecting nine rebounds, eight assists, seven steals and a light out 75 percent from the field.
Players chosen to the D3hoops.com All-Region team are eligible for All-America selection.
This is the 24th year D3hoops.com has named an All-Region team and this year's All-America team will be the 28th annual All-America selections. The D3hoops.com All-American teams, along with those of the respective coaches' associations, are the only ones recognized in the NCAA record book.
