MASCAC Men's Basketball Weekly Awards 2/19
As the regular season wrapped last week, Brendon Hamilton and Juju Omot of Westfield State take home the MASCAC Men's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week honors after going 2-0 in league action.

Hamilton averaged 15 points, 15.5 rebounds and 4.5 blocks while shooting 50 percent (12-14) from the field in a 2-0 week for the Owls, extending his streak of consecutive 10+ point, 10+ rebound games to seven. Led the Owls with 15 points in a 70-66 win over Bridgewater State, then followed by posting 15 points, 15 rebounds and a career-high eight blocked shots as part of a 86-85 victory at Salem State to finish the regular season. |
Rookie of the Week |
Omot averaged 23.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week for the Owls. Powered the Owls to a second-half comeback win against Salem State, scoring 18 of his career-high 33 points in the second half to top the Vikings 86-85. Added 14 points to reach double figure scoring for the seventh straight game in a 70-66 win over Bridgewater State on Wednesday.
