MASCAC Men's Basketball Weekly Awards 11/13
Dante Kikuba of Bridgewater State and Nicholas Martinez earn the first MASCAC Men's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week after guiding their teams to non-conference victories to start the season.

Kikuba averaged 28 points, 5.5 rebounds, seven assists and five steals in a 1-1 week for the Bears to open the season. Also shot 54.3% (19-35) from the floor, 37.5% (6-16) from three-point range and 75% (12-16) at the free throw line. Scored a career high 40 points to go along with five rebounds, nine assists and six steals in a 119-110 season-opening OT win over Anna Maria College. Notched 16 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals in a 93-83 setback to 2023 Elite Eight participant Nichols College. |

Martinez netted 22 points on 8-of-12 (66.7%) shooting with four rebounds and four assists in Salem State's 87-82 win against Colby-Sawyer. |
