Michael Makiej of Salem State and Joshua Saint Jean of Framingham State earn the MASCAC Men's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week accolades after competing against league opponents last week.

Makiej averaged 28 points on 24-of-36 (66.7%) shooting, 6.5 rebounds, four steals, three assists and two blocks in a 2-0 week for the Vikings. Scored 25 points going 11-of-15 (73.3%) from the floor with five boards, three steals and two blocks in an 86-73 victory over Framingham State. He followed up with a game-high 31 points on 13-of-21 (61.9%) shooting with eight rebounds, five steals and a pair of blocks in an 84-76 win over MCLA. |

Saint Jean averaged 18 points and 10.5 rebounds while shooting 60 percent from the floor (12-20) in a 1-1 week for the Rams, including 21 points and eight boards in the 86-73 setback to Salem State. Added 15 points and 13 boards in the 73-70 win over Maine-Augusta, including a perfect 5-5 from the free throw line. |
